One was a call sign change. I logged CIAO on 530 kHz four years ago. Their call had changed in January 2019, but I just noticed their call sign change to CHLO this week! Transmitting 250 watts from Brampton, Ontario, 377 miles to the west-northwest.
The other was a Boston station that has been around for awhile, but I just happened to hear it for the firs time this week. It probably flew under my radar because of its low power. It is WROL on 950 kHz transmitting 90 watts from Boston, 114 miles to the east-northeast.
Received both stations with my ELAD FDM-S2/SW2 connected to an 80 meter dipole antenna.
