Some points to think about for serious generator needs.
1. Can it run on propane, natural gas or gasoline? One fuel may be available when others are not.
2. Propane is much easier to store safely and for long periods. While containing 27% less energy per gallon than gasoline, larger portable and stationary tanks are available to compensate for the difference.
3. Propane can be used for other appliances and heating.
